The Month of Alaska
This guy on the subway as I get on starts singing: "When it's cold outside....When it's cold outside......I got the month of...Alaska." Later in the song instead of singing, "My Girl, etc" he sang, "Goldfish, Talking 'bout...Fresh Fish". He actually had an awesome voice. Then he spent the rest of the 15 minute ride rambling that sounded part telling stories, part rapping, part poetry slam. He mimicked all the voices of everyone in his stories, and used sound effects: "whoo whoo! boom boom! clank clank!" At one point he actually said "the slippery sailor was squeamishly seasick." It was weird and awesome.

was this guy begging for money? that'd be extra weird if he wasn't, because i also saw a guy doing weird stuff on the subway the other day, and he ALSO didn't ask for money. he was doing magic tricks for himself...real calmly, just kept making a quarter disappear or reappear. so non-chalant, that i doubt anyone else noticed. he should've asked for money, although he wasn't really that good that i would've given him money.
that is weird and awesome. people i notice in the street in klaipeda (we don't have a subway) are neither weird nor awesome; they're depressing and aggressive. a few days ago i saw a guy at a bus stop trying to hawk a gold necklace. a woman walked away from him and he sceamed AT HER "KA TU DURNA?! KAM TU BEGI???"
